Seventh leg of ‘Running The Seven Continents’ project in Antarctica, running through -25 degrees with wind chill. Becoming one of the youngest people in history to join the 7 Continents Marathon Club. Featured in over 190 news outlets - including Daily Mail, ITV London and London Live. Charity fundraising surpassed over £50,000 to date.

Sixth leg of ‘Running The Seven Continents’ project in the Arctic Circle, Norway. For the European leg.

Fifth leg of ‘Running The Seven Continents’ project in the Amazon Rainforest, in Ecuador. Invited to run on the Indigenous land of the Kichwa Community.

Launched Open Letter to the Prime Minister on Sky News. Addressing dementia diagnostics in the UK and asking for a £16 million increase in funding for diagnostics. Featured in over 170 news outlets.

Whilst waiting for the Autumn and Winter seasons to continue the running project - swam the Alcatraz from the island prison to San Francisco Bay. Only finisher on the day out of 70 swimmers without a wetsuit.

Third leg of ‘Running The Seven Continents’ project in Alaska, USA. Through the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Centre - surrounded by brown bears, reindeer and wolves. For the North American leg. Featured on the Alaska News Source TV channel.

Second leg of ‘Running The Seven Continents’ project in the Wadi Rum Desert, in Jordan. For the Asian leg.

Began ‘Running The Seven Continents’ project in the Agafay Desert in Morocco, for the African leg. High heat, humidity and chased by a pack of wild dogs at 14km.

The Hellespont Swim, one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world which separates Europe and Asia. Named as ‘National Treasure’ by GB News, and featured in The Times, Independent and Evening Standard.

English Channel Row. As part of a 6-person team. Led by adventurer and expedition leader Darren Edwards.
February & March 2022
17 marathons in 17 consecutive days, in honour of the 17 years Louis’ Grandfather lived with dementia. Faced Storm Eunice from day 2, and on day 10 developed shin splints, chest infection and fever. Starting outside Grandad’s final care home in Yorkshire, Louis ran in several locations around the UK, from Cardiff, to Bath, to London, highlighting the locations of Alzheimer’s Research UK research labs.

Decided to take the leap and go full-time with adventure. Planned to launch with the 17 marathons in 17 days, and gave 3 months to train and prepare.
October 2021
100km ultramarathon. Self-organised. Completed in 13 hours 45 minutes.
August 2021
10 y Fan. Climbed Pen y Fan, a mountain in Wales, 10 times non-stop in 18 hours 47 minutes. Whilst wearing a 10kg weighted vest. In honour of Walking With The Wounded.
2020
20 challenges in 2020 at 20 years old. Over 50 event cancellations because of multiple lockdowns. Combination of runs, duathlons, cycles, climbs and more. The ultimate ‘apprenticeship’ into this new hobby.

Climbed Mount Kilimanjaro aged 19, to honour Grandad’s dream of climbing the tallest free-standing mountain in the world. Found new passion and purpose for adventure, challenge and travel.
